Welcome to IDIP Films

IDIP Films is a film production company based in Geneva, Switzerland, that focuses on fiction and documentary films for cinema and television.

Producer Xavier Derigo and writer-director Eric Grant worked in Los Angeles and Paris before founding IDIP Films in Geneva in 2005.

They were then joined by Isabelle Pasini in early 2008. After a career in consulting for two major Swiss banks, she has now taken over the financing and distribution department for IDIP Films.

Thanks to the collective experience of its co-founders, IDIP Films is well established within the Swiss movie industry, and maintains close ties with contacts in France and the United States.

The company has full control over the complete audiovisual production process - project development, financing, filming, editing, sound design, and distribution - thanks to its internal resources and external partnerships.

We will be pleased to study all possibilities for co-production or executive production with Swiss or foreign companies. Do not hesitate to contact us directly: contact@idipfilms.com

Marianne Lehmann was born in Kirchberg, in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, in 1936. She married a Haitian lawyer before settling in Port-au-Prince in 1957. "E doce morrer no mar" (It is so sweet to die offshore) wrote Jorge Amado in 1936 about Iemanja, the Goddess of the seas and the oceans, the one who feeds men, but who is also fed by them; the one who entices fishermen to the depths of the ocean, to her unknown waters where they share her love nest. How is myth of Iemanja perpetuated today? At Ilheus, in Brazil, there are many beliefs and legends that feed into the often intangible ties that are forged between fishermen and the sea. "Agua Viva" is an invitation to dive into this universe of life and death, where myth and reality converge.
